The upcoming "Dune" prequel series, titled "Dune Prophecy," now has an official release window. The series will premiere on WarnerMedia's new streaming service Max in November 2023. The show is set 10,000 years before the events of the two "Dune" films directed by Denis Villeneuve.

"Dune Prophecy" will follow the origins of the Bene Gesserit, a mysterious order of women with superhuman abilities. The series will also explore the events leading up to the rise of the Fremen, a nomadic people who play a pivotal role in the "Dune" saga.

The first season of "Dune Prophecy" will consist of eight episodes. The cast includes Emily Watson, Sarah Lam, Olivia Williams, and Camilla Beeput.

WarnerMedia has released a first look at the series, which includes a teaser trailer. The trailer gives a glimpse of the show's stunning visuals and intriguing storyline.
