How to Replace a Toto Toilet Seat
Step 1: Locate the Seat Bolts
The first step is to locate the seat bolts. These are typically located at the back of the toilet seat, under two small covers. Pry open the covers with a flathead screwdriver or butter knife.
Step 2: Remove the Nuts
Once you have located the seat bolts, you need to remove the nuts that hold them in place. Use a wrench or pliers to loosen the nuts.
Step 3: Remove the Seat
Once the nuts are removed, you can lift the seat off of the toilet bowl.
Step 4: Install the New Seat
To install the new seat, simply reverse the steps above. Place the seat on the toilet bowl and tighten the nuts.
Step 5: Replace the Covers
Finally, replace the covers that you removed in Step 1.
